Something I am currently learning: the process of sanctification is slow. Once I begin to think I have journeyed a ways up the hill of holiness God shows me that I are actually pretty far away from that place and I really haven't learned those lessons as well as I thought I had. It is moments like this where God humbles me and reminds me that I am a very fallen sinner saved by grace alone through Jesus Christ, and not by any means of my own. Thankful today for mercy, forgiveness, and hope.
